I cut out these shapes with the intent of teaching my daughter about making patterns. Her creative mind has come up with better ideas though. These shapes have become food, money, people, pictures. With your imagination the possibilities are endless.
That's the best! =) Love when they come up with new uses!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! Thanks for the great idea! I have all of this felt (and a lot of *intentions*) that I want to use, and this is easy and definitely purposeful! My daughter will LOVE it! She's very into patterns right now, but sounds very similar to your daughter in that she'll probably find many creative ways to use them!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I need to pull out my scraps of felt and do this for the boys.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't pulled out our felt for a while! We need to!
ReplyDeleteHi Amy! Just stopping by to let you know that I've gathered some no-sew felt project in a post: http://best-toys-for-toddler.blogspot.com/2011/05/homemade-toys-for-toddlers-felt-board_25.html and included some of yours. Hopefully they will help parents have more fun and meaningful time with their toddlers :)
