Popcorn popping on the apricot tree

It's spring! We have been seeing "popcorn" on all the trees lately so we decided to make some popcorn trees of our own.

Items needed:

*Construction Paper

*Glue

*Popped Popcorn

I started by cutting a tree shape out of brown construction paper and gluing it to a solid background. I let the boys pick which color they wanted.

Next, we put dots of glue along the branches and placed our popcorn on.

And, ta-da! It's a popcorn tree!

This was so easy and fun. The boys loved it... and it was simple enough that my 2-year-old could do it (although he had more fun eating the popcorn...)
