The other week my mother-in-law was visiting us. At bed time my daughter declared that she wanted to hear a ghost story. I'm sure my mother-in-law was wondering what kind of stories I tell my child at night.
Well here it is. Only cute. Nothing scary. Get creative and embellish the story as it goes along.
Once there was a WHITE ghost named __________ who was very hungry.
He looked in the refrigerator and found a banana. He ate it and turned YELLOW.
The ghost was still hungry so he ate an apple and he turned RED.
The ghost became very thirsty so he drank some chocolate milk and he turned BROWN.
The ghost really liked vegetables so he ate a carrot and turned ORANGE.
He also ate a pepper and turned GREEN.
The ghost was tired after eating so much food that he thought he would have one more drink, so he drank some milk and he turned WHITE once again.
For this story I made a clear ghost with a face on it and then several different colored ghosts. Each time the ghost eats something you can put that color under him. My daughter loves to change the colors as the story goes on.

How did you make the clear ghost? William will LOVE this.
ReplyDeleteFor the clear ghost I used a scrap of laminating material and then drew the face on with a Sharpie.
